Stockholm is a mess. The city that used to be alive and healthy where you could fish in the canals and actually eat the fish without getting sick is falling more and more in misery. In the beginning of the 20th first century things started to change. At first it was slow but ones corruption got hold and spread the demise of good Swedish values was quick.
After just a few hundred years going out at night meant that you would be pray to the things that most people only have nightmares about. The more things started to fall apart the more it was apparent that humans were not alone in the city. The fact was that other things also habituated Stockholm and I am not talking about the rats and pigeons. Humans didn’t know but they had been sharing the city with various monster and supernatural creatures since the beginning but when there was order among the humans the monsters stayed in check as well.
With murder rates hitting the ceiling the government decided that Stockholm’s natural islands were to have reinforced borders. To pass from one to other required special identification cards. This brought some order back to the city since most of the supernatural population was unable to require a card.
Who is Haley?
Haley is human, well mostly anyway.
